Happy Birthday Again !

Well i couldn’t just sit peacefully after yesterdays disaster, even though all you wonderful people loved it and wrote me such lovely comments ! I had all morning free so decided to give it another go. But this time i tried what i knew i could not go wrong with.A chocolate and almond cake, my perfect birthday cake. I am truly satisfied now and can be sure the rest of my day will go well. More on the recipe later. Have to run now… hubby just got back with a wonderful bag of goodies! Cant wait to check it out !Cant believe i’m 27 today …. i’m getting old !!!

Trust you to come up with something this brilliant for your birthday.. It looks delicious..Especially the dark (or should I say BLACK )chocolate contrasting with the white almonds and the strawberrys.. Amazing!!

We should do a birthday roundup every month to see who shares birthdays in foodblog world. Then we’ll do a huge birthday party celebration online, of course. Everybody brings in a dish for a potluck.
